Located near Merritt, BC, Nicola Lake is surrounded by a wild, natural landscape. Low-slung, hipped roofs stretch the house out into the landscape. Reclaimed heavy timbers from an old sawmill were used extensively throughout the house, including for a dramatic two-level framework at the principle terrace. Corner windows add to the effort to recall the “Prairie” house designs of Frank Lloyd Wright
